The End and the Beginning

The wait is over. Praise the Lord - I'm going to Liberia, baby!!! I was accepted into Samaritan's Purse's internship program and will begin serving as of June 10th.

So, soon it will be the end of my beautiful life here in Pittsburgh. These next few weeks will be precious. I find that some of the most meaningful times in your life come at "the ends" and "the beginnings". It's when you see things fresh. You notice all the wonderful details that you once took or will take for granted. Feelings are raw and real. Life is beautiful and strange. You see God's hand all over it all.

My prayer: that He is more and I am less.

Wow Mel, how exciting is your news! GOD BLESS YOU in your new journey and please post as often as you can so we know how to pray. I love that song "Give Me Jesus" too and will think of you afresh when I hear it now. With Love in Christ! Angela at World Vision
